One of the positives that has come out of the current lockdown situation is an increased awareness of the importance of mental health.
Mental Health First Aid England have approved Sarah Darbyshire of HR Solutions Yorkshire Limited to deliver Adult Mental Health First Aid course.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course which teaches people
how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue
to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and even potentially stop a crisis from happening
to recognise warning signs of mental ill health
to develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe
how to empower someone to access the support they might need for recovery
The cost of the course is £300 + VAT per delegate. This includes course manual and workbook, access to on-line learning materials, 4 live training sessions and a certificate.
